Barcelona’s @22 district has been evolving for the last two decades, from an industrial area in decline to a focus of innovation and creativity.

Meridia Capital and CBRE joined forces to develop a very ambitious project: an office building tailored to the labour needs of the future, with a focus on people and technology, located in the district of Sant Martí, next to the centre of artistic creation La Escocesa.

The artistic roots of the place and the technological spirit of the building were the cornerstone for the creation of the name. Smart as an acronym of Sant Martí art; smart as a new approach to understand work and the oce space; smart as a way to use technology to improve our lives; smart is also green and eco-conscious.
